Rob is one of the founding members of the Mission. In 1993 the Mission building was bought in a dilapidated and rundown state and Rob dedicated much of his spare time in these early years, along with other members, helping to renovate the run down building.
He has also served as an elder with enthusiasm and dedication for most of these years – leading out in many church activities as well as behind the scenes. With his outgoing personality he readily makes any newcomers welcome to the church. His aim is to make Christianity relevant in our contemporary culture.
Rob also plays the guitar and loves to lead out in the worship band with lively and contemporary music.
He and his wife Renate have seen their son Dan and daughter Kristina grow up in the church and in recent years marry their respective partners Emma and Phil, and are now doting grandparents of five young grandchildren.
